Chris began his career in the early 2000s, quickly making a name for himself at leading firms such as World Fuel Services and Chemoil. In these formative years, he developed expertise in marine fuel trading, supply chain management, and logistics, gaining recognition for his ability to navigate complex international operations while maintaining strong client and supplier relationships.
Leadership at GP Global
In the mid-2010s, Chris took on a pivotal leadership role at GP Global (formerly Gulf Petrochem) as Head of Bunkering, West of Suez. Based in Rotterdam, he was instrumental in expanding the company’s presence across Europe and beyond. Under his leadership, GP Global grew its physical supply capabilities significantly, adding new trading desks to cover critical markets such as USA, Russia, Med, Africa & the UK . He also oversaw the growth of the company’s bunker barge fleet in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) region, enhancing operational efficiency and solidifying the firm’s reputation as a key player in the European bunkering scene.
